Thom was born in Omaha, Nebraska. Being a minister's kid - he moved often, but as an adult he has lived in the same house for 30 years. He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religious Studies. Thom moved to Olathe in 1974. He started building houses in 1976 and was developing neighborhoods by 1982. His focus has been on residential real estate since 1983. He likes to support the hometown teams – Royals, Chiefs, and Wizards. His favorites: authors - Sandburg, Faulkner and Twain, color - red, food – a big juicy steak, car - 1969 Oldsmobile 442 (which he owned when he was 17). He’s a big history buff and don’t think you can beat him in a trivia contest – you’ll  just slink away with your tail between your legs. Thom has been married to his wife, Adrienne, for 31 years, and they have a beautiful 18 year old daughter, Allegra. Just mention Allegra’s name, and his heart melts.
